The average smartphone user juggles 15-20 apps daily. One for messaging, another for money transfers, a third for food delivery, a fourth for ride-sharing, a fifth for entertainment. Each app has its own login, its own notification stream, its own UI patterns. Context switching between them kills productivity and fragments the user experience.
No single app connects social, financial, entertainment, and lifestyle services into one coherent experience. The result is a phone full of redundant apps, scattered logins, and zero interoperability between the services people use most. Fledge Connect came to Entexis with a clear brief: build the super app that replaces the chaos.
"My phone had 23 apps for things I do every week. I was spending more time managing apps than actually using them. That is the problem Dockr solves."
— A beta tester, on why super apps make sense
Dockr collapses the entire app drawer into a single experience. No more switching, no more scattered logins, no more fragmented notifications.
One app replaces the entire app drawer. Here is how a user moves through the experience.
One login. The home screen shows all available services — social, financial, entertainment, lifestyle, and location-based features — organised by category with personalised quick-access tiles.
Tap into any category — order food, send money, book a ride, check live sports, message a friend, find nearby contacts. Each service launches natively within the Dockr shell.
Every integrated service runs with full functionality inside Dockr — no redirects, no external apps, no context switching. The experience feels native because it is native.
Your social graph, financial history, entertainment preferences, and location data all live in one place. Services talk to each other — share a restaurant with a friend, split the bill, and book a ride home, all without leaving the app.
Built from scratch by Entexis for Fledge Connect — every feature is a full native implementation, not a webview wrapper. iOS and Android, from backend to pixel.
Full-featured messenger with one-on-one and group chat, live activity feed, video sharing, and community groups. The social layer that connects every other service in the app.
Send money to any contact instantly. Peer-to-peer transfers built directly into the social graph — tap a friend, enter an amount, done. Secure payment processing with real-time confirmation.
Fantasy sports leagues, sportsbook wagering, and live event ticketing — all in one place. Real-time scores, odds, and ticket availability without switching to a separate app.
Food delivery, alcohol delivery, cannabis delivery, ride-sharing, and restaurant reservations — all accessible from one service grid. Order dinner, book a table, or call a ride without opening a different app.
Amazon, Instacart, Airbnb, Netflix, Dolly, Strava, and UNTAPPD — all aggregated into one browsable marketplace. Shop, stream, book, and track without leaving Dockr.
Proximity alerts notify users when contacts are nearby. Contact discovery within a configurable 5-100 mile radius. Geofencing powers location-aware recommendations across every service category.
The core engineering challenge of a super app is making 7+ third-party APIs feel like one product. Dockr uses a custom middleware layer that sits between the mobile client and every external service. Each API is wrapped in a normalised adapter that handles authentication, rate limiting, error mapping, and response transformation.
The mobile app never talks to Amazon, Instacart, or Airbnb directly. It talks to the Dockr API, which routes, aggregates, and caches responses from each provider. This architecture means adding a new service requires building one adapter — not rebuilding the client.
Dockr's social layer is not a bolted-on chat feature. It is the connective tissue of the entire app. The real-time infrastructure powers one-on-one messaging, group chat, community feeds, video conferencing, and live activity streams — all running on persistent WebSocket connections.
Messages are delivered with sub-second latency. Video conferencing runs peer-to-peer with fallback relay servers. The live feed aggregates activity across all services — so when a friend books a restaurant or finishes a Strava run, it surfaces in your feed automatically. Every social interaction is tied to the user's identity graph, making it easy to share, split, and collaborate across services.
Location is the invisible thread that ties Dockr's services together. The proximity engine runs continuously in the background, monitoring the user's location against their contact graph and triggering alerts when friends or contacts enter a configurable radius — from 5 miles for urban environments up to 100 miles for travel scenarios.
Contact discovery uses the same engine to surface nearby Dockr users, enabling spontaneous connections. Geofencing powers location-aware recommendations — nearby restaurants for reservations, local delivery options, ride estimates based on current position. The location layer feeds data to every service category, making the entire app context-aware without requiring the user to manually search.
A super app is never finished — it is a platform that grows. Here is where the technology can extend next.
Full messenger with group chat, video sharing, live feed, and community groups — the social backbone of the super app.
Amazon, Instacart, Airbnb, Netflix, Dolly, Strava, UNTAPPD — all running through the unified middleware layer.
Proximity alerts, contact discovery, and geofencing — powering context-aware recommendations across every service.
Machine learning layer that learns user preferences across services — suggesting restaurants, events, and activities based on behaviour patterns.
Unified digital wallet supporting traditional payments and cryptocurrency — one balance for every service in the app.
Fitness tracking, telemedicine, and wellness services integrated alongside Strava data — extending the lifestyle category into health.
